Adequate stay. Some issues noted
bar noiseburnt toast
The music from the bar downstairs continued late into the night. this made it difficult to sleep. also, i found the breakfast to be quite basic. the toast was burnt, and the coffee tasted weak. It wasn't great. the lack of variety was disappointing too. I was hoping for more.

a pleasant stay
clean roomgood atmospherecomfortable bedstale beer
stacey greeted me. she took me to a very clean room. the room included a hairdryer. it also had an iron with an ironing board. the pub offered a good range of drinks and a great atmosphere. the on-road parking was free. the room was spacious. it was also comfortable. information on nearby shops was available in the room. takeaway details were included too. the staff went out of their way to ensure i had what i needed. i noticed a phone for taxis at the bar. the location proved ideal. the bar staff seemed lovely. the room remained quite quiet despite the bar music playing until midnight. the beds were comfortable. the staff were great too.
i walked through a pub. it smelled of stale beer and body odour. it was horrendous.

Okay stay. though there were issues.

The room was large and spacious! Two adults and two children fit comfortably in the two double beds. I also appreciated the provided tea and coffee. Value for money was definitely there. Free parking was very convenient.
The noise from the bar downstairs was loud. The music went on until late so sleep was delayed. I found the bar downstairs a bit grim. It could have been better maintained, though the staff was nice.

The staff was friendly and helpful! The room was spacious and clean.
The lack of available plug sockets was frustrating. The one near the tea and coffee station could not reach the table. I was also disappointed that the bathroom window only had a thin net curtain, I wanted more privacy. It could use some updating.
